We are a non-profit foundation made up of volunteer professionals who help children and adolescents from vulnerable families gain access to digital education and open up new professional and employment opportunities that will allow them to live a dignified life in the future, with equal rights and freedoms, supported by principles and values.

Legal nature: It is a non-profit, apolitical foundation, without distinction of race, religion, or social status, which as such will be governed by private law, the National Political Constitution, Decrees 1529 of 1990, Decree 2150 of 1995, Decree 0427 of 1996, and other current legal norms, of common utility, supervised by the provisions of current laws.

Coporate Purpose: The foundation's corporate purpose is to defend human rights, including the right to education, by bridging the gap between digital and traditional education for vulnerable students, boys, girls, and adolescents in public schools in Colombia. It provides and facilitates access to computer equipment, internet connectivity, and basic digital education for students in schools, within the parameters of equality and freedom, as set forth in Articles 13, 27, 44, 67, and 68 of the Colombian Constitution and Law 115 of 1994. It also aims to create and protect spaces for coexistence, avoiding all forms of discrimination and abuse, and by generating actions that promote and consolidate the promulgation and application of human rights and international humanitarian law, based on:

  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Article 26.
  • The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR). Article 13.
  • The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)..
  • UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education.
  • CEDAW Convention.
  • ILO Convention 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples.

What is the protocol for donating equipment?

To manage activities that allow us to consolidate our corporate purpose, the foundation does the following:

a. We conduct diagnostics of vulnerable areas (multidimensional poverty).
b. We manage resources and equipment with public and private institutions at the national and international levels.
c. We develop digital education support and advisory plans for elementary schools in vulnerable areas.
d. We provide families (consisting of children or adolescents), with digital equipment, subject to the parents' acceptance and responsibility.
